It is important to maintain energy levels while fasting during Ramadan. This is because there is a change in diets as you eat only during Suhoor (pre-dawn) and Iftar (at sunset).
As such it is important to carefully choose the foods you eat during Suhoor and Iftar.
Iftar is a feast which people look forward to after the day’s long restraint. Traditionally, one is supposed to eat dates along with juice, milk or water. It is believed that Prophet Mohammad ate three dates when he broke his roza.

Iftar is the evening meal with which Muslims end their daily Ramadan fast at sunset. It is best to eat foods that w.ould restore sugar and salt levels in the body while keeping it hydrated
Dates contain a high level of nutrients that gives you instant energy to make you feel rejuvenated after the long hours of fasting.
Drink as much water or fruit juices as possible between Iftar and bedtime to avoid dehydration. Avoid soft drinks or soda.
Raw nuts like Almonds contain good fats which are essential to your body.
4. Fruits Vegetables
Eating vegetables like Cucumbers, lettuce, and other juicy fruits that are high in fiber helps your body feel cool and also helps you avoid getting constipated.
Fasting during Ramadan can improve one’s health, but only if done in the proper manner, if not, it can cause more harm than good.
